Communicating in Teams Mastering Listening and NonVerbal Skills

Good teamwork and overall performance in a company is based upon having an efficient aspect of communication. Teamwork helps get the task done throughout every levels of the business for the company to successful. In Ben and Jerry's, there are the following employees: ice cream scoopers, cashier, shift leader, assistant manager, manager, and the store owner/boss. All of these positions are required to help one another through utilizing their effective communication skills. Nonverbal communication skills is also important in running a company. Nonverbal communication skills includes your body language, gesture, smile, and overall physical appearance. You have to present yourself in a well mannered and dressed representation as an employee or student for the matter. No matter what position you hold even if it is either the highest or the lowest, you are an important part of a team. Listening is very important in communication. In order to be successful grasping every detail of the speaker will be helpful in obtaining information. Listening to the speaker is highly valuable in a working and school environment.
