A Visual Success

Ben and Jerry's new ice cream flavor is a big hit in Ireland and Europe. For the company this is a visual success in the European market for customers, since many buyers associate a product with their lifestyle. Many locations in Europe is cold and filled with snow at times during the year. Therefore, Ben and Jerry's made a flavor that has the snowy white appearance with a warming taste of marshmallows.

A Visual Miscue

By changing a beloved ice cream name to celebrate Vermont's legalization of gay marriage, this caused Ben and Jerry's to lose their loyal customers. These customers include church goers and Conservative people. By changing their name and image of an ice cream, the "chubby hubby" caused a stir with a customer's moral and spiritual belief system, which associates them in their dicission making while buying a product from a company.

Ben and Jerry's goes Down Under

After many years, Ben and Jerry's finally go down under on their own scoop shop in Sydney, Australia on November 28,2009. There are about 30 countries around the world, who have a Ben and Jerry's scoop shop. Now, the fellow ice cream fanatics in Australia have an opportunity to try Ben and Jerry's most delicious ice cream flavors. Ben & Jerry;s will be scooping up FREE dollops of ice cream to the crowd for their opening day.

Final Exam Presentation

My presentation will consist of my television ad campaign for Ben and Jerry's new flavor, Peanut Butter Cookie Dough, also known as The Yellow Brick Road. Who doesn't love peanut butter cookie dough unless you are allergic to it? This advertisement, which I will make a short 30 second clip with the help of my friends, will target audiences of all ages with a catchy song and funny skit to attract them.
